A star is born

Afgelopen week was het dan eindelijk zover, de Wizard of Oz ging in premiere, okee jullie hebben het waarschijnlijk gemist, het stond niet op de showbiz pagina van de Telegraaf en ook RTL Boulevard is niet geweest, maar het was een grote gebeurtenis in HLY.

En in het bijzonder was het een grote gebeurtenis voor Youri, want hij had de rol van de Wizard, en nou wil ik natuurlijk niet overdrijven, wat vaders gauw doen, maar ik vond dat hij het fantastisch deed en hij vindt het zelf erg leuk om te doen.

Wie weet vandaag Hong Kong morgen Broadway.

Last week it was finally there the premiere of the Wizard of Oz in HLY, ok the rest of the world didn't notice it, nobody wrote a comment in the newspaer or showed it on telly, but still it was a big event for HLY and especially for youri as he played the Wizard.




And he played it very well, I think it must have been one of the best wizards ever, even better than Richard Prior in The Wiz. Youri had a lot of fun and that showed.


Who knows today Hong Lok Yuen, tomorrow Sydney Opera House.
